Europe's Air France/KLM is to raise full-year earnings expectations.

The airline said its operating result for the financial year to the of March 2011 would be positive, barring a "major adverse event".

In July the carrier said its operations would break even, excluding the impact of ash cloud airspace closures in April, which cost the company EUR158 million.
