Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) in Malaysia is converting its low-cost carrier terminal (LCCT) into an air cargo terminal.

The upgrade will increase the terminal's cargo capacity by 320,335 tonnes and take the overall cargo capacity at KLIA to 1.32 million tonnes each year.

The new terminal will include parking facilities for 76 aircraft and a multi-storey parking facility for 6,000 vehicles.
