MK to be liquidated

UK air cargo operator MK Airlines is to be liquidated after a failed attempt at a second company voluntary arrangement (CVA).

Liquidators were appointed after one of the airline's creditors petitioned the UK High Court to set aside the CVA that was agreed in June.

The failed CVA was the carrier's second in its recent history.
