French airport fuel risk unclear

Pipelines supplying fuel to Paris, France airports are operational, according to the government, but commentators say the risk of fuel shortfalls is still high.

At Nantes airport in western France, the situation was still critical early this week and several flights had been cancelled.

The Civil Aviation Authority sent out an advisory on Friday night to airlines requiring short- and medium-haul flights to Paris Charles de Gaulle to arrive with enough fuel to get home.
