Fuel shortage hits French airports

The fuel pipeline to Paris's main airports was shut off late last week amid strikes over French government pension reforms.

The company that operates the pipeline said Charles de Gaulle airport could run out of fuel as early as this week.

There now are fears of fuel shortages country wide, because France's 12 oil refineries all have been hit by strikes and many oil depots remain blockaded.
