Virgin and Delta Air Lines have submitted an 81-page document to the US Department of Transportation setting out the case for antitrust immunity on their proposed alliance after the pact was provisionally rejected by the DoT. Virgin Blue and Delta both say they intend to grow their trans-Pacific services and not withdraw capacity, offering a 24 month commitment that neither airline will reduce US-Australia frequencies if they are granted immunity.
