Highstar wants out of London City

USA-based investor Highstar Capital is said to be trying to exit its 25 per cent stake in the UK's London City Airport.

The stake was purchased from the majority owner Global Infrastructure Partners (GIP) in 2008.

Experts say the Highstar stake could fetch between GBP150 and 200 million and GIP is believed to have first rights to purchase.
