ACL to step in at Shannon?

Ireland's Shannon to Paris, France route - which incumbent Ryanair will quit next month - may now be served by Dublin-based Air Contractors (ACL).

The former air cargo-only carrier - originally Air Bridge Carriers - earlier this year began operating a Boeing 737-300 passenger aircraft with sister company Europe Airpost (EAP).

ACL has confirmed only that it is in talks with Shannon airport authorities.
