End in sight to BA strike wrangle?

UK carrier British Airways' boss Willie Walsh says there is hope that the long-running dispute with cabin crew may be resolved soon.

He claims the UK's largest union - Unite - wants to bring the dispute "to an end".

Discussions with Unite-affiliated cabin crew, who have been involved in 22 days of walkouts so far this year, have resumed and it is understood Unite believes "substantive progress" was made at talks last week.
