New Zealand is closer to setting up a regulatory regime for airports after the Commerce Commission revised its draft on the information required from affected airports.

Changes since an earlier draft determination was published on May 31 relate to disclosure of historical financial information, plus quality measures and forecast revenues.

It also includes pricing and pricing-related information plus certification and audit information.

The new rules will apply to named airport services supplied by the companies operating Auckland, Christchurch and Wellington international airports.
