Venezuela has fired Noris Negron as president of state-run airliner Conviasa. Victor Eloy Delgado Monsalve now is the new president of the Venezuelan airline "for purposes of developing and operating national and international public air service, regular or not, for passengers, cargo and mail, under criteria of revolutionary quality and efficiency, and in accordance with Venezuela's Economic and Social Development Plan," the government said.
