3PL providers miss targets, fight costs

Nearly half of Third Party Logistics (3PL) providers failed to meet their revenue growth targets in 2009, according to a recent survey that also says more than 90 per cent have now signed performance-based contracts with their clients.

In the Asia-Pacific region, the study also revealed provider concern over managing increased costs and dealing with 'unrealistic competition'.
