Solid growth for A-P carriers

Preliminary August figures compiled by the Association of Asia Pacific Airlines (AAPA) show solid growth in demand for freight and passengers.

Asia Pacific-based carriers carried 16.8 million international passengers for the month, up 8.4 per cent when measured in revenue passenger kilometres (RPKs).

International air cargo traffic measured in freight tonne kilometres (FTKs) were up 25 per cent compared to the same month last year.
