Eastern to buy Air Southwest

UK independent regional airline Eastern Airways is to buy south-west England-based Air Southwest.

The deal, still subject to regulatory approval, is expected to be completed next month.

Eastern has hubs in Aberdeen, Newcastle and Southampton and a network of routes serving 21 airports in the UK, Ireland, Norway and France.
