Cathay, JAL extend codeshare deal

An extended codeshare agreement between Japan's Japan Airlines and Hong Kong's Cathay Pacific has been announced.

Subject to government approvals, the agreement will cover all services operated by both airlines between Japan and Hong Kong from 31 October.

The oneworld alliance carriers will share codes on the new route between Hong Kong and Tokyo Haneda airport and also market each other's flights linking HK with Narita and Sapporo.
