Unite at it again

The UK union driving the British Airways cabin crew strikes, Unite, is now embroiled in another potential flight dispute.

Representing workers at six British airports, Unite is to poll members about a walkout over an unresolved pay dispute.

It will survey 6,185 employees, including security staff, engineers and fire-fighters if airports operator BAA fails to increase a 1.5 per cent pay offer.

Any resulting strike action could commence as early as August 19.
