Finland's Finnair has launched a new emissions calculator based on actual cargo, passenger and fuel consumption figures.

The calculations are certified by PricewaterhouseCoopers and will be updated quarterly on the basis of actual figures.

Consumed fuel is allocated proportionately based on the weight of both cargo and passengers for each flight.
