Sinotrans to be CGLN-only

Sinotrans Group of companies has entered into an exclusive membership deal with the China Global Logistics Network (CGLN).

The Sinotrans Group is one of the oldest-established freight forwarding companies in China and operates under the auspices of the Ministry of Commerce.

The Group has more than 24,000 employees operating in 235-plus offices throughout the country, with 98 owned-operated vessels, owner-operated terminals, 56 own-container yards and more than 335 warehouse locations.

CGLN reportedly has high credibility in the Chinese market and because of Sinotran’s relationship with the Ministry of Commerce, it says it now will work only with other CGLN members.
