A new strike ballot by UK carrier British Airways' cabin crew now looks "inevitable", according to union Unite.

It could lead to strikes over the Christmas holiday period.

More than 1,000 cabin crew attended a meeting this week to discuss the ongoing dispute with BA, where Bassa (British Airlines Stewards and Stewardesses Association) called for a new vote on further strike action.

Unite hopes to hold further meetings with the airline next week before calling another strike ballot.
