Airbus addition boosts Crystal's global reach

Etihad Airways' Etihad Crystal Cargo has commenced scheduled services between its home at Abu Dhabi airport and Tripoli, Libya using its first Airbus A330-200 freighter.

The Airbus A330-200 freighter is allowing the carrier to increase its presence in global markets and enhance its worldwide charter services. The aircraft will operate to various Etihad Crystal Cargo destinations including: Hann; Beijing; Tripoli; Milan; and N'Djamena.

Roy Kinnear, executive vice president Etihad Crystal Cargo said the new aircraft was a key part of the airline's freighter fleet.

Etihad now has a cargo fleet of one A330-200F, two Airbus A300-600F aircraft and two MD11s.
