MAS to stay with A380s

Despite statements to the contrary, Malaysia Airlines (MAS) will not cancel its order for six A380s, the Malaysian government says.

Last week, MAS chief executive Azmil Zahruddin said the carrier might cancel the order because of the long delivery delays.

However, "At this juncture, MAS has no plans to rescind the order," deputy transport minister Abdul Rahim Bakri said in a report carried by Malaysian state news agency Bernama.
