ADAC reports sparkling July

Abu Dhabi and Dubai airports have reported record cargo and passenger numbers for last month.

Abu Dhabi Airports Company (ADAC) said there were 1,008,228 passenger arrivals and departures in July, breaking the million mark for the first time.

For the same month, cargo increased 25.5 per cent to 197,845 tons in Dubai and 12.3 per cent - to 36,755 tons - in Abu Dhabi.
