ECS wins GA cargo contract

Indonesia’s national airline Garuda Indonesia (GA) has awarded a Europe-wide cargo GSA contract to European Cargo Services (ECS). ECS will market cargo services on flights from Amsterdam, Netherlands.

Amsterdam is the first of several major European destinations which Garuda Indonesia intends to add to its fast-growing network over the next four years, including Frankfurt, London, Paris and Rome.

ECS will now market the 14 tonnes of capacity available each day on Garuda’s A330-200 flights from Amsterdam Schiphol and expects to generate some 5,200 tonnes of freight per annum for the airline.
