Trio exit Yangtze River cargo stake

Taiwan's China Airlines and two other companies have exited their investment in Chinese cargo airline Yangtze River Express Airlines, citing poor performance.

China Airlines has discarded its 25 per cent stake, while Yang Ming Marine Transport has dropped its 12 per cent and Wan Hai Lines its six per cent.

"We decided to pull out because of lacklustre performance," said an official at China Airlines.

Founded in 2002, Yangtze River Express operates a fleet of 12 cargo planes.
