Ghana's national airline, Ghana International, appears to have gone out of business, media reports say.

Few other details are available, although the UK's Guardian newspaper reports it was given conflicting answers by Ghana's High Commission in London when it sought clarification on the airline's operational status.

The airline either is downed permanently or awaiting needed government funding, the paper said.
