Dubai's low cost airline flydubai has launched services to Sri Lanka and has flagged fleet expansion and the introduction of air cargo services.

The airline's ceo Ghaith Al Ghaith said while no freight services were currently being offered by the airline, a freight business unit would be added when it had the capacity to warrant it.
