BAA counts strike, ash and cold costs

The Icelandic ash cloud, strikes by British Airways cabin staff and winter snow were responsible for a GBP10 million reduction in airports operator BAA's predicted earnings for the year.

It forecast GBP946 million in earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation in 2010, based on an expectation of 85.2 million passengers in its terminals.
