BAA, Unite talks avert strike

UK airport operator BAA and union Unite have struck a deal to prevent a strike at BAA's six British airports.

Members of the Unite union, including fire-fighters and security staff, recently voted by three to one to take action over pay.

Unite will now put the negotiated solution to the membership.
