Air China extends Netline/Load contract

Air China Cargo's contract with Lufthansa Systems to use the German firm's NetLine/Load weight and balance solution has been extended for another five years.

NetLine/Load is designed to ensure optimum distribution of passengers, baggage and cargo on an aircraft, ensuring maximum payload opportunities can be exploited.

By using it, fuel consumption can be reduced by as much as 0.5 per cent per flight, the firm says.
