SAS Scandinavian Airlines has been Europe's most punctual airline this summer, with 90.35 per cent of the carrier's flights on time during July.

Some 14,312 of its 15,840 routes departed and arrived on schedule, after May and June posted 91.3 per cent and 90.62 per cent respectively on time stats.

Meanwhile, the carrier has begun searching for a new chief executive officer after ceo Mats Jansson resigned, a year ahead of his contract expiry.
