PAL adds cities, overnight freight service

Chile's PAL Airlines has named two new cities on its network and announced a new freight offering.

Arica will be served from September 9, 2010 and Copiapó (both in northern Chile) will see two ex-Santiago flights a day from August 19 Monday through Friday and one flight on weekends.

The airline has also announced its first international scheduled route to Córdoba in Argentina from September 15 2010 with four flights per week.

PAL also has announced an agreement with Pegasus for a new cargo service called "Intelligent Freight" for overnight cargo.

Among clients will be the Chilean Mail service plus mining companies in the northern regions of Chile.
