Mexico's Mexicana de Aviacion, which entered bankruptcy protection last week, says new deals with unions and a cash infusion are needed if it's to survive. Adolfo Crespo, the airline's senior vice president customer service, said the airline was in poor shape and needed solutions quickly.

Ticket sales already have been cancelled.
