World adds three freighters

World Airways, a subsidiary of Global Aviation Holdings, is to add two leased Boeing 747-400 freighters to its fleet.

The aircraft are scheduled for delivery in December 2010 and February 2011 and to grow World's B747-400 freighter fleet to four.

World also will soon - September - take delivery of a MD-11 freighter it placed in storage in 2009, taking its MD-11 fleet to nine.

World provides customised transportation services for international passenger and cargo carriers and others.
