BA strike 'solution' offered?

UK conciliation services body ACAS says it has tendered a possible 'way forward' to end the long-running dispute between UK carrier British Airways and its cabin crew.

It is believed it centres on restoring travel perks for BA cabin crew - now the focal point for the disagreement.

Acas chief conciliator Peter Harwood said: "The proposals we have put forward must remain confidential to enable the parties to reflect on them without the glare of publicity."
