Plans for a fresh strike ballot of UK carrier British Airways' cabin crew are at an "advanced stage", it has been revealed.

Further action has been threatened for the summer unless the current deadlock is broken.

Unite union assistant general secretary Len McCluskey has told strikers that the "fight for justice" will continue, saying preparations for a fresh ballot are at an advanced stage.
