Cathay opts for smaller cargo planes

Hong Kong-based Cathay Pacific Airways is negotiating to buy B787 Dreamliner aircraft and A350 jets for its cargo business, ceo Tony Tyler says.

The carrier also says cargo demand is picking up as consumers in North America and Europe buy high-tech products.

"We are taking, for instance, high tech Apples to North America," Tyler added.
