Airservices Australia has announced a second 'collaborative environmental air traffic management initiative' - the Indian Ocean Strategic Partnership to Reduce Emissions (Inspire).

It is understood it will aim to duplicate the Aspire emissions reduction initiatives already employed in Asia Pacific.

Aspire focuses on the South Pacific, North Pacific and South-East Asia, while Inspire is aimed at the Arabian Gulf-Australia, Southern Africa-Australia/South-East Asia and South-West Indian Ocean-Arabian Gulf.
