South American carrier LAN Airlines will add a sixth weekly A340-300 between Sydney and Santiago, Chile. The A340-300 offers six pallet configurations of around 18 tonnes per flight. LAN shares freight capacity with Qantas on the route. The new flight, every Sunday from 2 July, is in addition to the current departures from Sydney every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday morning.
