NEW MANAGEMENT STRUCTURE FOR QANTAS FREIGHT

Following confirmation that Stephen Cleary has been appointed group general manager for Qantas Freight the airline has announced a new organisation structure for Qantas Freight.

Harold Pang has been promoted to the role of general manager sales, responsible for worldwide sales and will remain based in Singapore. Margaret Lee will replace Pang as regional freight manager Asia; Carel Nel will assume the role of general manager Network and Yield, responsible for his existing portfolio as well as the freighter program; Bob Lugton continues his role of general manager Freight Terminals; Garry Mangelsdorf will assume the role of general manager Customer Service, responsible for worldwide customer service across all areas of the business; Andrew Pawley will replace Mangelsdorf as regional freight manager Australasia and Africa; Theo Triantafillides has been appointed to the role of general manager commercial, responsible for marketing, e-business, Joint Venture management and IT related strategy development; Andrew Wilson will continue in his current position of financial controller, responsible for all financial aspects of the business; Tracy Hibbert will continue in her current position of manager people, with the additional administrative responsibility of safety and environment policy, reporting into the Associated Businesses People Group.

Sudhir Joshi continues as manager Segment Services, reporting into IT Business Services; Jodie Molloy will be executive assistant to Stephen Cleary, responsible for office management and administration. All new positions are effective immediately
