The first ever planned meeting between logistics companies in China and Canada will be held in Canada in April. The networking forum - the Sino-Americas Regional Freight Forwarders Conference - takes place in Vancouver, 02-05 April.

Requested initially by freight forwarders in China, the conference is expected to provide them and their counterparts in the Americas with an opportunity to get to know and build relationships with suitably qualified agents.

The idea of a Sino-Americas conference was the result of lengthy negotiations between China Global Logistics Network (CGLN), the China International Freight Forwarders Association (CIFA) and the Canada

International Freight Forwarders Association (CIFFA) following the successful Sino-International meeting in Dalian, China in June 2005 which attracted more than 830 delegates.
