HOGAN TO LEAVE GULF AIR

Gulf Air president and chief executive James Hogan is to leave the airline before the end of the year.

An Australian, Hogan has led Gulf Air’s Project Falcon turnaround program and the implementation of the airline’s new strategic plan, Smart Airline, Successful Business.

The airline expects to appoint a replacement for Hogan before his departure to ensure a seamless changeover.

Gulf Air has been under pressure following the decision by Abu Dhabi to withdraw from Gulf Air’s ownership group, leaving the airline to focus on its hubs at Bahrain and Oman.
