TIACA INCREASES CAPACITY BY A FURTHER 10%

TIACA has increased exhibition space by a further 10% at its Air Cargo Forum & Exposition in Calgary, Canada, September 12-14th 2006, to meet unprecedented demand from air logistics organisations around the world. It is already confirmed as the largest exhibition in the 46-year history of the event. To date, more than 200 individual exhibitors has bought nearly 40,000 square feet of exhibition stand space. The additional 10% capacity – in the same hall as the other exhibitors – is now on sale.    

TIACA’s Chairman, Gary Bartek, Manager of Cargo Development at Kansas City International Airport, said: “Once again, companies from across the international air cargo industry are proving that TIACA’s Air Cargo Forum is the number one event in their business calendar and the best opportunity to showcase their products and services to top global buyers over three days. The 2006 event has been boosted by a record number of international business pavilions. The Canadian pavilion alone measures 3,500 sq ft and will accommodate 28 exhibitors from the air cargo industry in Canada, including airports, airlines, forwarders, express and logistics providers, and government agencies.

The 3,000 sq ft Italian Pavilion features a similar representation of all aspects of the Italian air cargo industry while the China Pavilion of 2,000 sq ft offers products, facilities and services offered in one of the fastest growing commercial regions of the world. The Belgian Pavilion represents air cargo developments and services in one of the strategic crossroads in Western Europe and a large Malaysian Pavilion will provide an insight into the Southeast Asian market .Malaysian Airlines will host the ACF 2008 in Kuala Lumpur.
