FIATA has announced the finalists for the ‘’Young International Freight Forwarder of the Year” for 2006. The international winner will be announced at the FIATA World Congress in Shanghai September. The regional winners are: Africa/Middle East  - Vishal Joshi (Ghana); America - Pamela Rooney (Canada); Asia/Pacific - Lin Yi Song (China) and Europe - Marlena Goldberger (United Kingdom).

All four winners have been invited to attend the FIATA World Congress 2006 in Shanghai to receive their certificates and trophies. The international award comprises four weeks of practical and academic training, one week at the IATA training centre closest to the winner’s home, one week of academic training in London and two weeks practical training based in one of the TT Club’s regional centres.

Documentation for the 2007 award will be distributed to National Associations during August 2006 with a deadline for nominating candidates of 15 January 2007.
