FRAPORT WINS DRAGONAIR HANDLING CONTRACT

Hong Kong–based Dragonair has inked a contract for ground handling in Germany with Fraport Cargo Services Ltd. (FCS). The new 5.5 year contract covers physical and document cargo handling.

Dragonair, headquartered in Hong Kong, flies four B747 freighters between Frankfurt and Hong Kong via Dubai. Dragonair also operates scheduled trucking services between Frankfurt and Amsterdam.

The Chinese carrier is planning to increase frequencies in its winter schedule 06/07 up to six weekly flights with a potential cargo volume of about 30, 000 tons per year.
