European budget airline Norwegian is dropping flights to five destinations in Spain from the UK's Birmingham Airport.

The destinations affected are Barcelona, Gran Canaria, Madrid, Malaga and Tenerife.

 

Similar downsizing decisions have been made in recent months by United Airlines, American Airlines and Emirates, while the failure of Monarch Airlines has affected ex-Birmingham flights to Valencia, Split, Naples and Rhodes.
