UK court says Monarch slots will pass to ACL

A UK High Court says failed carrier Monarch's administrators have no rights to its UK airport slots.
Several airlines including easyJet were interested in buying slots at Birmingham, Gatwick, Luton, Leeds-Bradford and Manchester airports for summer 2018.

Airport Co-ordination Limited, which allocates UK take off and landing slots, had said it wanted to allocate the slots for next summer following Monarch's collapse and said they should be placed in the slot pool.

They granted a 'stay' on their order in respect of Gatwick and Luton until November 17, giving Monarch's administrators days to win permission to appeal.
