SIA and SilkAir in code-share deal with Scoot

Singapore Airlines (SIA) and SilkAir over time plan to add their SQ and MI flight designators to services offered by their sister carrier Scoot, the low-cost subsidiary of Singapore Airlines Group. 
The new code-share agreement means SilkAir and Singapore Airlines customers will receive boarding passes and baggage tags through to their final destination at their first point of check in.
 
They also will receive a complimentary meal and drink, a blanket for flights over four hours and a checked-bag allowance. 
The deal is subject to regulatory approvals.
