UK visitors to fall?

UK national tourism agency VisitBritain says it expects overseas visitor numbers to Britain will fall by around 0.7 per cent this year to 31.7 million, with a nominal 2.4 per cent increase in spending to GBP16.7 billion.

Capital selling ICT stake

Beijing Capital International Airport (Capital Airport) of China reportedly is to sell 24 per cent of its stake in International Cargo Transport (ICT). Air China is the controlling shareholder of ICT and has first rights to purchase the stake.

Who will be Alitalia partner?

Reports last week said Air France-KLM is close to sealing a deal to buy a stake in Italy's Alitalia and the deal could be concluded early January.
