Etihad inks JatAirways MoU

UAE carrier Etihad Airways is in discussions with JatAirways about an equity investment in the Serbian national carrier, with a preliminary Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Etihad Airways and the government of Serbia signed in Belgrade Monday June 17.

Korean adds China, Canada services

Korean Air is to add flights on its routes to Canada and China. From 20 June, the current five flights a week between Seoul/Incheon and Vancouver will be increased to daily, with flights to Toronto also increased to daily from 24 June.

Osborne joins Frasers

louiseLouise Osborne has been appointed director of sales Victoria and ACT for serviced apartments specialist Frasers Hospitality.

Osborne will be based at Fraser Place Melbourne and will represent the company's three properties in Australia including Fraser Suites Sydney and Fraser Suites Perth.

Frasers Hospitality’s portfolio including those in the pipeline stands at 81 properties in 44 gateway cities, and more than 13,000 apartments worldwide.
 

Miller takes Sabre role

NaomiNaomi Miller has been appointed marketing and communications manager for Sabre Pacific.

Based in the company's Sydney, Australia office, Miller will handle marketing and communications strategies across Australia, New Zealand and the South Pacific.

Miller was previously digital marketing manager at Jetset Travelworld Group and also has held senior marketing positions for travel companies including Travelscene Corporate, American Express, Zuji and Flight Centre.
 

Knowlson moves to Pullman

Lisa-Knowlson 1Australia's Pullman Reef Hotel Casino in Cairns, Queensland has appointed Lisa Knowlson as director of sales.
Previously general manager of the Mantra Amphora Resort and Spa at Palm Cove, Knowlson made the move to Tropical North Queensland 15 months ago.
Before moving to Cairns, she  was general manager of the Aanuka Beach Resort at  Coffs Harbour and gained more than eight  years’ experience in a number of sales roles for The Mantra Group and Rydges Hotels in New South Wales and Queensland.
