Virgin Australia steps in to fill Samoa gap

Virgin Australia plans to fly from New Zealand to Samoa five times a week and up to four times a week from Australia to Samoa starting 13 November 2017. 
With the Virgin/Samoa joint venture services due to cease 12 November, the new flights will ensure there is no disruption in services between Australasia and Samoa. 
 
Subject to regulatory approvals, Virgin Australia plans to operate five return B737-800 services per week from Auckland, New Zealand to Apia, up to two return services per week from Sydney, Australia to Apia, and up to two services per week from Brisbane, Australia to Apia.
